It will be interesting to see how many people buy a PS3 just to play Blu-Ray. Sony will be selling the PS3 at a loss. They expect to make a profit by the game software sales.
If the PS3 is far cheaper than a stand alone Blu-Ray player, I am sure all the other manufacturers will not be happy with Sony eroding the price of Blu-Ray right out of the gate.
